About Doctor McCarty

Dr. McCarty is a recognized leader in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry. A member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Fellow in the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry, he continually attends advanced courses and strives to be a leader in the latest dental technologies.

He has been using metal-free adhesive materials to create and restore beautiful smiles since 1985. He is a dental artist who, through the use of conservative procedures, enhances the health, beauty and function of smiles. His ability to create natural, life-like smiles has helped many people look and feel their best.

Dr. McCarty is from the Texas Panhandle where he graduated from Texas Tech University in 1969 and the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1973. He served two years as a dentist in the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife have 3 children and one grandson.

In addition to Austin Smiles, Dr. McCarty donates his skills to many charitable organizations. Some of these include Manos De Cristo Dental Charitable Clinic, Honduras Outreach Mission Trips, Give Back a Smile, and the Theo Project.
